Founder and Director of Kreative Buttercups School

Born and raised in the city of Detroit. As the oldest of six children, I suppose caring for kids has always come naturally to me. My passion for providing childcare began at the age of 14, and I spent many years caring for the children of my family and their friends. 

Early in my career as a childcare provider, I served as an infant/toddler teacher at some of Metro Detroit's top childcare centers. From a professional perspective, I was able to gain valuable insight into the childcare world. During my time studying children of various backgrounds in a variety of settings, I applied what I knew and the knowledge I had gained to best serve each child and guide them on their individual journeys. 

2014 was the year when I was given the opportunity to become a full-time nanny. This unlocked a new childcare territory that I didn't even know existed. I was able to provide so much love and care to the children, but also provide support to the family as a whole. I take pride in helping the adults, because they need a village too. 

I founded Kreative Buttercups School to provide high quality childcare to families, my way- real, organic, and honest. Bringing together the professionalism of Childcare Centers, personalization of Nanny Life, and the love and guidance I received from my grandmother's home as a child, in this business.

I aim to inspire children to learn the fun way, using every experience they have as an opportunity to unlock a new milestone. I give children as many yeses as I can, while helping them cope with occasional nos.  As they grow and eventually outgrow the services we provide, it is our mission to ensure that they are prepared and equipped to navigate the next stages of life with confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
